A mobile trade fair stand was to be designed for the IC Immobilien Gruppe (IC Real Estate Group). Two rollups complemented the wall at the graduate fair. The desired look and feel was to be young, dynamic and sort of casual — making the target group of graduates curious about starting a career in the real estate industry.
The underlining message should be, that the real estate industry is anything but dusty and dull — rather, it is a setting for life, personal development and diversity.

The Core Feature of the Stand
The idea of a skateboarder dressed in a business suit was already mentioned from the start by the client during the kick-off briefing. I found suitable image material for this and made the skateboarder jump over an office building facade in such a way that you might get the impression of steps rather than the exterior of a building.
The person got a slight motion blur, so that the crop was not too hard and the picture looked like a snapshot in motion.
The subject embodies diversity as well as personal growth at and away from the desk.
The QR code was created with my very own QR code designer and was set up as a redirect by the client. This allows for a convenient edit of this redirect at any time through the client — without any third-party-dependencies.
The mobile fair wall consisted of five individual panels that were attached to a scaffold with magnetic edges. An area of three panels formed the central, visible part.
The separation in panels presented a particular challenge in the placement of the headline and motif.

Two rollups virtually frame the mobile wall — one was meant to be in logical relation to the main theme on the wall, the other one as a general standalone display for the possible career entry options in the company.
Furthermore, a neutral counter was produced; in solid blue, plain with logo and website address.

Isolating fragile objects
Fig. left: For isolating the lady's hair from the original background, I had to add quite a few hairs manually. Also her nose ring was taken from a different picture. I added that one for a more convincing "rock-look". Fig. right: There was no way of isolating blurry shoe laces either. So I had to cut them off, draw them manually and reapply the motion blur.
